Welcome to Preston & District Beekeepers
Preston & District Beekeepers group was one of the first beekeeping groups in the country, being formed in 1882.
We aim to provide education about bees and beekeeping, offering assistance to club members and advice to the general public.
We hold regular meetings in and around Preston and welcome new members.

Swarms
If you have a swarm of honeybees a beekeeper may be able to remove them for you. First, please check that the insects you are concerned about are honey bees.
Apiary
Preston BKA’s Teaching Apiary has been in operation for over 10 years. It usually supports 10 to 12 hives of bees, which are inspected on Saturday mornings.
