BKA Basic Assessment 2023

The BKA Basic Assessment is the basic beekeeping qualification of the British Beekeepers Association. It enables candidates to show they are a competent beekeeper with a basic understanding of good beekeeping husbandry, and it also provides the foundation to complete other practical beekeeping assessments.

To be eligible to take the assessment, candidates must have been keeping their own bees for at least a year.
